Given Information From the Dragon Campaign

So here, I will list some things we do and don't know pertaining to the Dragon Campaign, as well as somethings that I think aren't clear.
I also have a disputed section, where I hope to show some things that I have read people say happened, never actually did.
(I will add things, as I think/notice more)
Feel free to comment.

An incomplete posting with all the dialogue pertaining to the Dragon Campaign can be found here.

Do know.
Belzac and Kanzas died at the final battle at Kadessa.

Damia and Syuveil died during the campaign, but it doesn't say where, just that Syuveil was there for the destruction of Mayfil.

Mayfil, Aglis, Zennebatos, Flanvel and Deningrad were Wingly cities shot down during the war.

The countries of Serdio, Tiberoa, and Mille Seseau were around during the Dragon Campaign.

Emperor Diaz died during the Dragon Campaign.

Zieg and Rose were engaged.

Belzac and Shirley were in love.

Kanzas was a murderer.

Humans can use some amount of magic. (Albeit negligible compared to the Winglies)

Winglies only survived in two places. Ulara and Wingly Forest

Don't know.
How long the Dragon Campaign lasted.

How Dragoon Spirit creation was found out.

In what order did they become Dragoons.

If the first Moon Child appeared shortly after Melbu's crystal was destroyed, or 108 years after.

How many of the Winglies became immortal. (Savan talks about becoming immortal, and not always having been so)

Disputed.
The Super Virage that killed Belzac also killed Shirley.
A) Shirley said his death, "Won't be in vain." When your love dies saving you from a giant monster, you don't kill it, just to die from it anyway.
B) When encountering the optional Super Virage in the Forbidden Land, Rose mentions, "This must be the one that killed Belzac." No mention of Shirley there.
C) When asking you to lay to rest the four Dragoons from the past, she mentions them as being the ones who died there. Why would she not have become like them if she died like them? We have no indication of what happens to a Dragoon who naturally ages (4 deaths, 1 petrification, 1 immortal) so her becoming a spirit could just be what happens.
D) When in Shirley's Shrine, she says to Rose, "I understand, you have been on your sad journey since then." Now the game didn't want to spoil the somewhat obvious guarded secret about Rose being the Black Monster, but it would seem that Shirley was there at the start of Rose's sad journey, and perhaps decided not to join her.

Rose killed Michael shortly after the Dragon Campaign.
A) Plain and simple, when talking about Michael and why it attacked her in the moon, she says, "That is.... Oh no! Michael!! No! I couldn't have been mistaken! I was with him for more than 10,000 years!" So simply put, she wasn't 10,000 years old until about 10,000 years after the Dragon Campaign. Although, it would seem like it had been a thousand years or so since Michael had died.

Rose was a cold person, especially towards Damia.
A) The whole conversation with Damia, is how Rose is nice, and caring towards her, and makes her feel not as lonely. Hardly cold.
B) She talks about her life changing due the her choker. How Zieg helped her control her Dragoon insanity. No, the coldness from Rose just seems to be from 10,000 years of wiping out villages.

And along with that, that Damia was bubbly, highly energetic, and somewhat annoying.
A) The conversation with Rose suggests that she was, shy, quiet, and probably picked on. (guessing due to the fact that she was only half-human)

Belzac was only half Giganto.
A) He was the same size as Kongol, and it doesn't suggest anywhere that he was.

Damia and Syuveil were in love.
A) In doesn't make any mention about this and is probably just said simply because there being two other romances in the original seven. (What about Kanzas?)
B) She was only 15, and although she could have had a 15 year old crush, she was 15. Need I say more. (And yes, if you happen to be reading this, and are 15 years old, and have a crush on a guy in his mid-20's.... not happening)

An eighth Dragoon (Diaz)
A) Have you played the game? Seven in the Dragon Campaign.

Thoughts.
Kanzas- perhaps somewhat cliche, but a murderer in a holding cell of some sort, set free to help repel attacking Winglies? When asked imprisonment or service, he was ready to choose imprisonment, until he meets Shirley. Also, possibly the last Dragoon recognized.

Librarian Ute- mentions in his version of the legend, that the Dragoons were tribal warriors. I can see the humans being somewhat separated from each other, and the "countries" were more like city states. Diaz seeing the futility in trying to resist the Winglies separately, decided to reach out and was able to get the humans to band together. Most of the Dragoons (perhaps all but Damia) were warriors within their different groups.

Winglies- not all were oppressive and bad. Think of Melbu and his armies like the Roman armies, and many Winglies being the common Roman citizen, yeah we got more rights then you, but that's it. Charle, when meeting Dart, does mention him looking like "our Zieggy" which would suggest she had met Zieg before, and it wouldn't have been after the final battle with Melbu, where Zieg becomes petrified.

Moon Child- did they not actually effect those around them, as Rose and the Winglies thought. I mean, Dart, who was around Shana most of his life, kind of went against everything Rose had been worried about.

Rose- every fanfic has her being an orphan. I don't think so. I can see her actually being a wealthy man's daughter. How else would she get trained as a warrior? (I know them street urchins are ripe with Dragoon potential) Same goes for Zieg.

Death Frontier- It sounds from Librarian Ute's tale, that the Death Frontier may have been the main area where humans lived, and was completely destroyed by magic.

  1. Zenebatos wasn't shot down; Flanvel was a mobile fort, not a city; Serdio, Mille Seseau, and Tiberoa were formed AFTER the Dragon Campaign; the spirit was released immediately, and found a host within a brief amount of time (probably no more than a few months); there no actual reason given Damia and Syuveil couldn't have been romantically involved, though I agree it's unlikely; Kongol is small for a Giganto, based off the sizes of what appear, based off dialogue, to be Giganto corpses in the Home of Gigantos; Humans cannot use magic unless it's in item form or as Dragoons (remember, magic is why the Winglies thought the were better than humans); Winglies could very well have survived elsewhere, since we have no idea where Lloyd and Lenus come from; Kanzas was a KILLER, not a murderer specifically.
